Birgit from By Number 19 shares a free pattern for making these felt Easter egg decorations. The set of felt ornaments can be hung from a simple tree made from a branch. She includes templates for making all 6 designs you see here, including tulips, a bunny, a rooster, a swan, a sheep, and polka dots. You could also come up with your own shapes to applique to the felt eggs.
