Free pattern: Girl’s Monkey Bar Skirt with built in shorts

Adrianna from Crafterhours shares a free pattern for making a girl’s Monkey Bar Skirt.  It’s a short knit skirt with a pair of shorts sewn in so there’s no worry about panties showing even when turning flips on the monkey bars.  There’s an A-line and a gathered skirt option, and the pattern comes in sizes 2T-10.  Go to Crafterhours to download the pattern.

  2. So I have to download a different program that resides on my computer to be able to download this pattern. I don’t like that.

    • Carol, You should not have to download any program to get this pattern. The link to the free pattern is a text link within the article itself. I just checked the article after reading your comment, and there is currently an ad in the sidebar that has the word “download” in it but it’s unrelated to the free pattern. The pattern download link will take you to Hey June patterns where you can download the PDF for free. –Anne

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
