Free pattern: Josephine Doll

December 11, 2014 by Anne Weaver

Free pattern: Josephine Doll

Free pattern: Josephine Doll

Abby Glassenberg from While She Naps, and author of Stuffed Animals: From Concept to Construction, shares a free pattern for her Josephine doll.  She designed the cloth doll for an artist gift exchange she attended, but this sweet doll could be a special present for a child.  (Leave off the buttons if you’re giving it to a young child.)  You can give each doll her own personality with hair style, dress fabric, and embellishments.

superb! Just what i was looking for to iniciate my litle girl in the art of stitching. You need to add a comment on the plan to the head piece. The face is missing.

    Best regards,

    JC and thank you!

This looks very much like a knockoff of the dolls on Etsy.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
