This owl softie is more than just a pretty face. She’s also a sewing notion caddy, sitting at your sewing table and holding your sewing tools at the ready. Shannon from Shanni Loves shares a free pattern and tutorial for making one. His (or her) head is a pincushion, and a pocket across the belly holds scissors, marking tools, seam rippers, and other small tools. You can stitch her wings to the pockets if you want to make it look like she’s clutching the tools. Go to her blog for the pattern and tutorial.
