Free sewing pattern: Reversible baby bib with side closure

November 18, 2013 by Anne Weaver

Free pattern: Reversible baby bib with side closureOne of my favorite baby gifts to give is a handmade bib, one that’s nicer than the ones you find the stores and made from a special fabric.  I often make a stack of them in a sewing frenzy and then keep them on hand as last-minute baby shower gifts.  Abby from Things for Boys shares a free pattern for making a reversible baby bib.  Her bib has the closure at the side of the neck, with the neck band wrapping around the neck and attaching to the top of the bib.  It’s a practical shape that allows for quick and easy bibbing.  Go to Things for Boys to get the pattern and tute.

Thanks for providing a pattern for a reversible baby bib.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
