Sewing Free pattern: Sun and Rain Hat

sunrainhatI like to keep a sun hat tucked away in the back hatch of my car.  You never know when you’re gonna need a little shade, whether it’s a trip to the pool (or park) or working in the garden.  Lorenna Buck Designs shares a free pattern at Craftsy for making a folding sun hat.  It’s made to be folded up so you don’t have to worry about it getting crushed or bent out of shape.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
