Free pattern: Water bottle dog toy

The fleece dog bone toy is not stuffed with polyfil or batting. Instead, there’s an empty water bottle inside to give it shape and to give a satisfying crunch when the toy is chewed. You can find a free pattern and tutorial for making one at Andrea’s Notebook. It’s a quick easy little project. The dog bone shaped cover is made from fleece, with a simple envelope closure at the back so you can wash the cover or replace the empty water bottle as needed.
