July is Skirting the Issue at Simple Simon & Co. It’s a month-long series encouraging sewists to sew up skirts to donate to children in foster care. You can read more about Skirting the Issue here. And because it’s hard to know what size to make a skirt without the recipient’s measurements to guide you, the folks at Babylock share a handy sizing guide on their blog Totally Stitchin’ to help you. It shows standard waist and length measurements for girls ages 2 – 16.
