Idea file: Use invisible zippers to make a fitted nursing dressIt doesn’t look like it, but this full length, fitted, princess seam dress is actually a nursing dress.  I would not have thought it would be possible for a full length fitted dress to be a functional nursing garment, but Charity from Say Grr Sewing figured out how to do it.  The princess seams that make the dress fit so beautifully have invisible zippers in them to give baby access when it’s time to nurse.  Brilliant!  She put them in upside down, with the zipper pulls just below the waist where they’re not very noticeable.  Go to Say Grr Sewing to read more about this clever construction detail.
