I’m loving the stuffed fabric letters that Sew Jahit made for her son’s bedroom! They’re a sweet accent for a wall shelf or bedding set. She has a great tutorial on her blog showing how she made them – plus a file you can download with templates for the letters. Each letter is made like a pillow, though with more complex shaping than most pillows. It’s that shaping that can make this a tricky project, but her post tells how to avoid the pitfalls so you end up with beautiful stuffed fabric letters like hers.

Stuffed Fabric Letters, by Sew Jahit

– While sewing my fabric letters, I have made some painstaking mistakes and wasted much time on redundant steps. I have thus designed this tutorial to make sure my readers do not repeat the same mistakes, and complete the project in a most effective and efficient way.
– I also shared my experience in deciding on design factors (which I think are as important as the sewing process itself) and how I came to my decisions. When I was doing my own research, I wished I could get these information from someone who had done it before, instead of anxiously figuring it all out by myself, not knowing for sure if a certain font type (for example) work work. Hopefully, my readers can have a more pleasant experience making their design decisions, having been better informed.
– Every step of the tutorial is clearly illustrated with graphics or photos.
– Simply because this is such a fun and cute project!
