I just adore this time of year- not only is it my Birthday (okay, are you like my boyfriend and already annoyed at my mentioning it?? Apologies but I am seriously 7 when it comes to my B-day!) but it is the start of fabulous Fall (the best Season in my book), back to school and National Sewing Month!
Well, it is a great time to indulge in your sewing passion or just get started if you’ve never sewn before! The American Sewing Guild is a fantastic resource. They can help you find sewing classes in your area and also have an annual Sewing Conference. Although I would like to take this opportunity to say that their “fashion” show really needs some help!
Sewing.org is another great resource. Their site is chock-full of sewing projects as well as tons of info on America’s new fave pasttime. (I know- it’s a dream but Sewing is definitely gaining popularity! No?)
