I’ve read several blog posts that say flannel makes a soft fitted crib sheet, but none of them mention how to adjust for the narrower fabric. It may be the difference in width isn’t enough to make a different in the fit of the sheet, but I’ve never done it so I can’t say. You may just need to give it a try and then see how it fits over the mattress. –Anne
