The Shirt Off Daddy’s Back winner, plus a coupon code

July 6, 2011 by Anne Weaver

Last week we posted a giveaway for a free registration to The Shirt Off Daddy’s Back online sewing workshop offered by the fabulous Wendi Gratz from Shiny Happy World.  The giveaway closed Monday night, and I’m happy to announce our winner today.

I’m also happy to tell you that Wendi has a special coupon code for all Craft Gossip readers, giving you $5.00 off the registration price.  Just use the code CRAFTGOSSIP at checkout to get your discount.  (Deadline to receive the discount is midnight EST on July 10, 2011.) Thanks, Wendi!!

And now for the winner…

The winner is lucky commenter #20, Gina Lange, who said:

i would make these beautiful things for my 4 year old who loves to wear my hard work!!

Congratulations!!  I’ve sent you an email so you can get your free registration.

I am so excited. I just adore Wendy and her talents. I have done all her free tutorials on sewing and have learned so much. Thank you for this great treat!

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
