Sarina from SewGuide shares a tutorial showing how to make 5 types of hijab, a simple headscarf that covers a Muslim woman’s head.  Within her tutorial, she shows how you can make a simple square hijab, a triangular hijab, an Al Amira hijab, a Shayla hijab, and a Khamir hijab.  Even if you are not Muslim, it’s an interesting post to learn about different types of head coverings and how they are made.

    Stop pandering.

    • It only takes *one* reader to appreciate the post for it to be useful. I subscribe to this blog, and I wear hijab. Even if there were *no* hijabis reading this, inclusive posts show the other readers that the blog author is welcoming to other peoples and cultures [and thus more likely to attract additional readers]. Based on your other hateful comments on the various CraftGossip blog posts, you’re clearly unhappy with the content, so perhaps you could find the narrow-minded posts you’re looking for elsewhere.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
