It’s a partial button placket, one that doesn’t go the entire length of the shirt and only includes a few buttons. You can add one to a shirt you sew from pattern, or on a shirt or onesie you buy from the store. Use a contrasting fabric (a print is always fun) to add a pop of personality to a plain shirt.
