Diana from Sew Cute Patterns shares a couple of softie patterns that you can create for and with your kids. She’s got patterns for a whale and an owl softie, both super cute and would appeal to kids. But even better, she includes printable activity pages – a coloring sheet with a picture of the softie, a maze, and an adoption certificate. You can include your child in the design process by letting them color in the picture to show what they want their softie to look like! And if your kids are old enough to use a needle and thread, you can let them help sew them up. They’re all made with simple hand stitches – no sewing machine required!
