Free Sewing Pattern Tutorial: Canvas and faux leather duffle

duffleSew4Home shows how to make their Safari Duffle from canvas and faux leather.  It has a pair of handles stitched on to the bag so you can pick it up your hands, and also a removable longer handle so you can carry it on your shoulder.  Finished dimensions are 22″ long x 11″ tall x 11″ deep.  Made from neutrals, as they show it, it’s a great bag to make for guys.  It would also  make a cute bag when made from brights or fun prints.  Go to Sew4Home for the tutorial.

  1. When I click on your icon that say “sew4Home” it does not respond. I cannot receive the Canvas and faux leather tutorial and the pattern. I plan to make this bag for father day. Can I get somebody to help me. I feel that I am push this way and that way with no positive result.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.
