Tutorial: Chicken Easter egg covers

lla from Ulla’s Quilt World shares a free pattern for these little fabric chickens. They’re made to fit over a plastic egg, with the egg filling out the chicken’s tummy. They have loopy yarn head and tail feathers, and appliqued wings. A drawstring around the bottom opening will keep the egg snug inside. If you don’t want to use plastic eggs, you could also just fill their tummies with treats and cinch the drawstring in to hold them inside. Go to Ulla’s Quilt World for the free pattern.
