Tutorial: Child’s apron and elastic back chef’s hat

Veronica from SewVery shows how you can make a child’s apron and matching chef’s hat. She uses her free Sunny Dress pattern to make the apron.  She links to the pattern and then tells the modifications to make the apron.  And the chef’s hat. Oh, the chef’s hat!  The back half  of the bottom band is actually a piece of wide elastic so it slides easily on your child’s head while still having a snug fit to keep it in place.
