As the name would suggest, a separating zipper is made to come apart. You’ll often find them on jackets, where you need the zipper to separate completely in order to take off or put on the jacket. But sometimes the zipper gets messed up and ends up simulatenously unzipped but also unable to separate completely because the pull is still attached to both sides of the zipper. It doesn’t happen often, but when it does it’s super frustrating. Susan from Oh My! Creative shows a way you can fix the zipper so it works normally again. There are no tools required, just a basic household item.
