Tutorial: Easy wraparound scarf headband
Back when I had long hair, I would sometimes use a scarf as a headband. I could only use the short ones, though, or leave really long tails on the long ones, because otherwise there was just too much bulk by the time I got it wrapped around a couple of times. Ursula from Northern Ambitions shows an easy sew solution. She slims down a long scarf so it can be wrapped and knotted without being too bulky. She even manages to keep some of the fringe so it keeps the free and easy scarf look.
