Tutorial: Grocery bag holder and disepnser

July 21, 2013 by Anne Weaver

Grocery Bag Holder Tut blog picLeah at Phat Quarters show how to make a grocery bag holder and dispenser.  The plastic bags are easily inserted into the top of the bag.  Then, when you need to grab a bag, a drawstring hole at the bottom allows you to pull them out one at a time.  She pieced several coordinating prints together to make stripes around the bag, but you could also make it from a solid piece of fabric.  Even with the piecing, she says it can be made in just 30 minutes. Go to the tutorial.

The bottom is actually just elastic, not drawstring. Very simple & I hope you enjoy the tutorial! 🙂
