Say you need to cut a large fabric panel, for a curtain perhaps. You’ve got a rotary cutter, ruler, and mat but the mat and the ruler are nowhere near as big as the fabric you need to cut. You can still do this, you just need to do a little fabric folding and planning – and a little math.
