Tutorial: Leaf print peplum blazer refashion
You can turn a rather plain thrifted blazer into an eye catching peplum blazer with flared sleeves. Mark Montano shows how to do it, with a video and written tutorial on his blog. He shows how to make the peplum and flare sleeve and also how to create the leaf design on the fabric.

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

I love , love, love this idea. There are so many machine embroidery sites out there, but I own enough sewing machines and don’t want to go down that road. Same effect but so simple. I have a friend who is a fabric painting machine. She’s going to kick herself when she sees this, just like I did. Great idea.
