Summer time is Summer Reading Club time at most public libraries. It’s a free activity that will keep the kids reading when they’re out of school, and encourage them to check out books to read at home. Becky from Patchwork Posse shares a tutorial at Skip To My Lou showing how to make a sling bag to carry books to and from the library. It carries cross body and is big enough to hold picture books. It would also work nicely as a busy bag.
