Tutorial: Make a messenger bag from old jeansJill from Creating My Way To Success made this messenger bag from an old pair of jeans and some cute cat fabric.  She shares a tutorial showing how she did it. She included a zipper across the top (under the flap) to keep the contents from spilling out.  The jeans waistband becomes the strap, and the back pockets will become pockets for the inside of the bag.  Get the tutorial at Creating My Way To Success.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
