If you or someone you love uses a wheelchair, then you know how difficult it can be to find adaptive clothing. The styles are limited in either pre-made clothes or sewing patterns. Alicia from Sew What Alicia shows how she creates adaptive sweatshirts for her son (who uses a wheelchair) to wear. She starts with an off-the-rack sweatshirt, and shows how she adapts it so it’s easy for him to wear. It’s an easy alteration to make and there’s no sewing required!
