Heather from The Sewing Loft shares a tutorial for making these Scrap Bucket Baskets. The lining is a solid piece of fabric, but the outside is pieced from all those small bits of fabric filling up your scrap bin. Heavy weight fusible interfacing keeps the sides standing up on their own. Grommets and rope make handles. You can make them to store your fabric scraps, but they’re handy throughout the house. Use them to hold magazines, toys, or wash cloths. It would also be a cute way to keep your everyday use fabric napkins within easy reach of your dining table. Go to The Sewing Loft to see how to make it.
