A monochromatic scrappy log cabin block is the perfect answer to an overflowing scrap stash. By keeping the color palette monochromatic, you can just choose your scraps at random and they’ll all work together. Amy from Diary of a Quilter used this method to create a scrappy log cabin quilt to donate to Project Linus, and shares a tutorial from Emily from Simple Girl Simple Life showing how. This would be a great project to make with a quilting group! Or, you can make single blocks and send them to Amy and she’ll sew them up into quilts to donate.
