Pam from Threading My Way shows how to do scribbly stitching applique that works well for stitching around tiny or complex applique pieces. It might also be referred to as wonky stitching or sketchy stitching. It looks like free motion stitching, but she doesn’t drop the feed dogs. This is my favorite way to applique. I love being able to draw pictures and color them in with bits of scrappy fabric.
