Tutorial: Sew a reusable grocery bagRachel from Holy Craft shows you can make a reusable grocery sack.  She used smart fab, a non woven material that is an alternative to paper and cloth.  You could also use a quilting weight cotton to make these bags.  She gives them flat bottoms so their shapes are similar to a traditional paper grocery sack, though with handles to make them easy to carry.  Go to Holy Craft  for the tutorial.

  1. I have been saving the “plastic like” woven food sacks from the cats and dog food that I buy. I am thinking that maybe this pattern will work to make grocery sacks for me to use and possibly give away.
