Tearing into Christmas gifts usually means dealing with a pile of ripped up paper after. We recycle as much as we can, but even better would be gift wrap that can be reused. Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shows how you can make a simple fabric gift bag that can be used over and over and over. It has boxed corners to accommodate larger items. She makes hers from a single layer of fabric which keeps the construction simple and the material cost down, but you could add extra layers of lining and interfacing if you need a bag with more body.
