Melissa from Blank Slate Patterns and Melly Sews shows how you can make a simple fabric gift bag that can be used over and over and over. It has boxed corners to accommodate larger items. She makes hers from a single layer of fabric which keeps the construction simple and the material cost down, but you could add extra layers of lining and interfacing if you need a bag with more body.
