Tutorial: Taking in the waist on a pair of jeans

I was a happy girl today when I found a tutorial by The Secret Pocket that shows how to pinch in the waistband of a pair of jeans.  I’ve been “blessed” with an ample rear-end paired with a small waist, which generally means my jeans gape at the back of the waistband.  If you’ve received this same “blessing” from the universe, then go check out this tutorial.

  2. The original how-to instructions for this were much better than the current one. I don’t want pocket pucker with the darts as recommended. The original way was much easier and worked like a charm ! Can you repost it with the pictures?

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
