Cheryl from The Green Hedgehog and Sew Can Do shares a tutorial on her blog showing how to make her Tip Top Tank for kids. At first glance I thought she had made them from some fabulous knit prints (and I was wondering where she found them!), but then I read further and found out that it’s a woven quilting cotton. The neck edging and straps are all made from foldover elastic. There’s enough stretch on the straps that she could use quilting cotton for the body of the shirt without having to make any kind of closure. How cool is that! Get the tutorial.
