An exposed elastic skirt looks okay with a simple white or black band of elastic, but when you can use elastic in a fun color or print it’s really awesome.  I don’t have a local source for wide elastic in fun colors, so that’s usually not an option for me.  But LiZ from Simple Simon & Co.  has an unexpected source for pretty elastic.  She uses dollar store headbands.  Smart lady!  She shares a quick tutorial showing how she does it.
