Baby’s bath time can get a parent just as wet as baby.  A terry cloth apron like this one can help keep mom or dad dry when they give baby a bath.  Mary Beth from Retro Monkeys shares a vintage pamphlet at the Pattern Patter blog for making one.  The project comes from The New Encyclopedia of Modern Sewing (1943).  And though it’s meant for new parents, I can see many other uses for an absorbent apron.  It could be useful in the kitchen or the art studio, too.
