Tutorial: Vintage powder or bath mitt
When I was a kid, I loved using my grandmother’s body powder. I felt so fancy pouncing the perfumed powder over my arms and back. Mary Beth from RetroMonkeys shares a free vintage project sheet showing how you can make a powder mitt to use with body powder. It’s made from a pretty fabric for the front, and backed with terry cloth. Or, if you don’t use body powder, you could also use this as a bath mitt. The terry cloth backing that picks up the powder would also work as a washcloth surface.
