Amy from Friends Stitched Together shares a tutorial at Sew McCool showing how to make a zippered welt pocket. It’s not hard to do, and it looks so nice. This style of pocket is particularly nice in the lining of a bag, as it allows you to have a zipper flush with the surface of the lining. I also like to use this style of zipper when making a monster (or kitty) face bag, so the zippered pocket becomes the mouth.
