Winner of the Singer 160 Limited Edition sewing machine giveaway

Time to announce who will be getting a new Singer 160 Limited Edition sewing machine! But first, I gotta say… Wow.  972 entries!  That is the most entries I’ve ever gotten into a giveaway before.  But no wonder, because this machine really is easy on the eyes.  (And nice to sew on, too….)

For the 971 of you who entered the giveaway but didn’t win, I just saw on the JoAnn website that this machine is on sale for $350.  (That’s $149 off the $499 regular price.)  I don’t know how long the sale lasts.

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!
