You could win a ticket to SNAP!

March 4, 2015 by Anne Weaver

snap-ticketI have two bits of exciting news to share with you today.

First, I’m going to SNAP Conference this year.  I know, this is more happy news for me than for you, but I’m just so excited I feel the need to share the news with everybody.  And, if you’re going to be at SNAP Conference too, I’d love to meet you!

Second, if you haven’t purchased your ticket to SNAP yet, you can enter to win one over at Simple Simon & Co. !  Now THAT’S exciting news!!!!!

So what is SNAP Conference, exactly?  It’s a 3-day conference just for us crafty, sewy, blogger types.  It’s happening April 23-25 in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Get all the yummy details here.

And here’s the thing…  There will be not 1, but 2 sewing rooms!  One room will be filled with sewing machines, the other with sergers and embroidery machines.  The rooms will be used for sewing classes and also for open sewing times.  Times you can bring a project to work on while in the company of other creative types.  Sewing and talking, talking and sewing…

Now you see why I’m so excited to be going! And why I’m so happy so share an opportunity for you to win a free ticket!

To enter, go to Simple Simon & Company and leave a comment there telling the type of sewing or quilting class you’d like to take.

(And while you’re there, check out the list of classes being taught in the sewing rooms.  It’s going to be a little slice of sewing heaven!)

I have never heard of this conference, but it sounds wonderful. I would love to learn how to really use my serger.

One of these days I’ll get to one of these conferences so I can hobnob with all the other wizards!

Have you read?

Easy Cosmetics Bag Sewing Pattern

The bag is simple, uses very little fabric (about 2/3rds of a fat quarter), has no fussy inside pockets (although you can add your own if you like), and takes me well less than 30 minutes to print the pattern, cut out and sew. But quick and simple doesn’t mean it’s not awesome!

It’s the sort of bag that is versatile enough to be used for lots of applications, not just cosmetics and toiletries. Keep all your pens and pencils in order, use it for a small first aid kit for the car, keep it in your desk at work for a few headache pills and other personal supplies.

Make some for yourself, for gifts or to sell.
