This gorgeous medieval princess costume looks like it came from one of those high-end (and quite pricey) costume catalogs, but it didn’t. Jamie from Scattered Thoughts of a Crafty Mom created it for her daughter. And though it is a very fancy costume, it’s actually not hard to sew. She’s got a tutorial showing how to make it using a basic peasant dress pattern as a base. If you don’t have a peasant dress pattern, she’s got one you can download for free. Her free peasant dress pattern comes in girls’ sizes 12 months – 10 years.
